@the_studycoach: The guessing step feels pointless until you try it, which is probably why most people skip it. I did too. In my first semester I failed six courses, and my whole approach to a slide deck was to read it top to bottom and hope some of it stuck. If a title gives you nothing, write “no idea” and keep going. That still counts. By the time you reach the real slide, your brain has already taken a shot at it, so the correct answer sticks differently than it does when you just read it cold. Start with the lecture you’re most behind on instead of the easy one. Fifteen slides in one sitting is plenty, and the rest can wait until tomorrow. Follow for more study habits worth keeping.
