@riclabasan: After following the beginning of Sara Duterte’s impeachment proceedings until now, I can’t help but wonder: *Why does it seem like this process is taking so long? *With all the evidence that has been presented, is there still a need for more evidence, or is it time for those responsible to make a clear and decisive judgment? With everything happening, more and more Filipinos are questioning why accountability seems so difficult to achieve. Whether they are DDS supporters, BBM supporters, or politically neutral citizens, these questions deserve serious answers. HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS THAT MANY FILIPINOS MAY BE ASKING: Why does it seem that the government is afraid to hold Sara Duterte accountable? *If the evidence is there, why does the process appear so complicated? *If the issue is about evidence and the rule of law, why does it seem so difficult to move forward? The people deserve transparency, not endless uncertainty. Is politics influencing the process? Some people may begin to suspect that political calculations, including concerns about the 2028 elections, are getting in the way of genuine accountability. Are political attacks actually making her supporters even more determined? Instead of weakening her political image, the constant political fighting may only strengthen the loyalty of her supporters. At the end of the day, the Filipino people deserve answers, transparency, and justice—not political games. Public office is a responsibility, not a privilege to escape accountability. If there is sufficient evidence of wrongdoing, let the proper legal process take its course. Investigate fairly, present the evidence transparently, and hold anyone accountable if guilt is established under the law—regardless of political affiliation. Matapos sundan ang simula ng mga proseso ng impeachment ni Sara Duterte hanggang ngayon, hindi ko maiwasang magtaka: *Bakit tila ang tagal ng prosesong ito? *Sa dami ng ebidensyang naipakita, kailangan pa ba ng mas maraming ebidensya pa, o panahon na ba para sa mga responsable na gumawa ng malinaw at mapagpasyang paghatol? Sa lahat ng nangyayari, parami nang paraming Pilipino ang nagtatanong kung bakit tila napakahirap makamit ang pananagutan. Sila man ay mga tagasuporta ng DDS, tagasuporta ng BBM, o mga mamamayang walang kinikilingan sa politika, ang mga tanong na ito ay nararapat sa seryosong mga sagot. NARITO ANG ILANG TANONG NA MAAARING ITANONG NG MARAMING PILIPINO: *Bakit tila natatakot ang gobyerno na panagutin si Sara Duterte? Kung naroon ang ebidensya, bakit tila napakakomplikado ng proseso? *Kung ang isyu ay tungkol sa ebidensya at sa panuntunan ng batas, bakit tila napakahirap sumulong? Nararapat sa mga tao ang transparency, hindi ang walang katapusang kawalan ng katiyakan. *Naiimpluwensyahan ba ng politika ang proseso? Maaaring magsimulang maghinala ang ilang tao na ang mga kalkulasyon sa politika, kabilang ang mga alalahanin tungkol sa halalan sa 2028, ay humahadlang sa tunay na pananagutan. *Ang mga pag-atake ba sa politika ay talagang nagpapatibay sa kanyang mga tagasuporta? Sa halip na pahinain ang kanyang imahe sa politika, ang patuloy na labanan sa politika ay maaaring lalo lamang magpatibay sa katapatan ng kanyang mga tagasuporta. Sa huli, ang sambayanang Pilipino ay nararapat sa mga sagot, transparency, at hustisya—hindi mga larong pampulitika. Ang posisyon sa publiko ay isang responsibilidad, hindi isang pribilehiyo upang makatakas sa pananagutan. Kung may sapat na ebidensya ng pagkakamali, hayaan ang wastong prosesong legal na magpatuloy. Mag-imbestiga nang patas, ipakita ang ebidensya nang malinaw, at panagutin ang sinuman kung ang pagkakasala ay mapatunayang napatunayan sa ilalim ng batas—anuman ang kaugnayan sa politika. ANG PERA NG BAYAN AY HINDI PERSONAL NA PAG-AARI NG SINUMANG PULITIKO. DAPAT PROTEKTAHAN ANG TIWALA NG PUBLIKO, AT WALANG SINUMAN ANG DAPAT MAKAKABALIGTAS SA BATAS.
