@canadair_worldwide: A Croatian firefighting aircraft (Canadair CL-415) took part in the filming of the popular motoring show The Grand Tour (featuring former Top Gear stars Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May) in May 2017. The highlight of the episode was the moment when a Croatian Air Force Canadair CL-415, based at Zemunik Air Base, made a low-altitude flyover and released a massive load of water, effectively “putting out the fire” by drenching James May’s Lada. The crew consisted of Captain Tomislav Slavica, co-pilot Major Tomica Mikec, and flight technician Corporal Ante Marić. #fyp #canadaircl415 #topgear #viral

With great respect to fighter pilots, fire pilots are those who still come face to face with the enemy.
