@daniel.will.chow: I visited two structurTradees new to me on my most recent trip to New York City. The first 5 pics are the Oculus at the World Center train station in Lower Manhattan, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava (I’ve previously posted pics of his museum in Rio de Janeiro and bridge in Buenos Aires) and opened in 2016. Pics 7 through 9 are Vessel (46 meters / 150 feet high) at Hudson Yards, a few blocks southwest of Times Square. Vessel opened in 2019. These pics are a flashback to September 2023, except that the last pic is from 2014. The 2014 pic is from the top of Rockefeller Center and backs my opinion that the view of Manhattan is better there than from the Empire state building because it include the Empire state.
