I would like it but there is something about the culture that needs to stay the same. The Philippines has great caring people and should stay their own country to preserve the culture and identity. The US could help more financially but I feel that should be it. I love the Philippines the way it is. Becoming 51st state I believe would change that like it has the US. I want to retire in Philippines in a couple years because of the people and culture
