![Palantir Chief Technology Officer Shyam Sankar said “the Army doesn't know how to manage” its coding talent, which is why the Pentagon recruited him and other executives from AI companies to join the Army Executive Innovation Corps and turn troops who can code into “valuable assets.” “The Army is drowning in talent, what we would call green suiters who actually know how to code, and they're exceptional,” he said in an interview with @margaret_brennan on Friday. When asked whether there could be a conflict of interest with tech companies working alongside the U.S. government, Sankar said the project is “carefully managed by the lawyers in the [Defense] Department. We're only allowed to work on projects where we don't have conflicts.”](/video/cover/7695460567485566221.webp)
