@future.hype3: Collin Gosselin is sharing disturbing allegations about his childhood, claiming that his mother, former reality TV star Kate Gosselin, physically mistreated him behind the scenes of their family’s famous television show. The 22-year-old made the claims in an interview with Page Six while promoting his new memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood. Collin alleges that when Kate became angry, she would grab him by the ear and drag him across a room. He claims one incident left his ear swollen when he went to school, while other alleged encounters left the side of his face bruised and painful. But Collin says his concerns went beyond his own experiences. He also alleges that he witnessed emotional and verbal Ab\*se involving his siblings while their family appeared on Jon & Kate Plus 8. According to Collin, he believed their feelings were often dismissed and they were made to feel responsible for the conflicts at home. Kate has previously disputed her son's account of their family history. In a 2024 statement, she said Collin had experienced serious behavioral and mental health challenges and explained that his placement in a treatment facility was intended to protect him and the family. She also described some of his allegations as fabrications. Collin was sent to a behavioral health facility in 2016, when he was 11. His father, Jon Gosselin, later obtained custody of him in 2018, and Collin has remained estranged from his mother. Now, through his memoir, Collin is offering his own account of a childhood spent growing up in the public eye. Behind a family's television fame, the most painful stories may be the ones viewers never saw. \#CollinGosselin #KateGosselin #RealityTV #CelebrityNews #familydrama
