I look at the pictures I have of you almost every day, Grandma. ❤️🥺 It’s crazy to think that you’re no longer here with us. It’s about to be two years without you, and honestly, it still doesn’t feel real. Since you’ve been gone, there have been so many times when I wished I had called you more, talked to you more, or just gone over to your house to spend time with you. I wish I had known how precious those little moments were while I was living them. If I could go back, I would cherish every second a little longer. I’m so thankful for all the memories you gave me. I still remember your beautiful, delicious pancakes, especially your banana pancakes. 😭❤️ Ever since you passed away, I haven’t really been a fan of pancakes anymore because they just don’t taste the same. Nobody can make them like you did! I remember going over to your house when it was just me and you, chilling together, watching your stories and QVC (I think that’s what it was called 😂❤️). I remember all the things you used to shop for, and I’ll never forget how you used to threaten to whip my butt because I was always so bad. 😂😂 Those little memories mean more to me now than words could ever explain. Sometimes, it feels like I could pick up the phone right now, call you, and you would answer. I can almost hear your sweet voice asking me, “How’s it going, baby?” Your voice is something I will always carry with me. I wish I could hear it one more time. I wish I could sit beside you one more time. I wish I could hug you one more time. I wish I could have just a little more time with you. Grandma, there are so many things I wish you could be here for. I wish you could be there when I settle down, when I get married, and when I bring children into this world one day. I wish you could meet the person I choose to spend my life with. I wish you could have a seat at my wedding, hold my babies, and babysit them so they could experience the same beautiful bond I was blessed to have with you. I wish you could see the woman I’m becoming and all the things I’m going to accomplish in this life. Sometimes, I wish I had been older when you were still here. I wish I could have done more for you, given you more, and made more memories with you. I wish my future children could have met you and experienced firsthand just how amazing you were. But even though they won’t get the chance to meet you, I promise they will know you. I’ll tell them every story I can remember. I’ll show them your pictures, tell them about your banana pancakes, and make sure they know exactly who their great-grandmother was. They will know how much you were loved and how special you were to me. ❤️ It’s still so hard to accept that you’re gone. Sometimes, I wish this was all just a bad dream and that I could wake up and have you back. But even though I can’t see you, I know the love you gave me will always be a part of me. You’re still my guardian angel, and I carry your memory with me every single day. I love you, Grandma. I miss you more than words can explain, and I think about you every day. ❤️ I wish I had called more. I wish I had visited more. I wish I had just a little more time. Until the day I get to see you again, I’ll keep loving you from here. I hope that day is still a long, long way away, because there is so much more life I have to live, so many memories I still have to make, and so much more of myself I still have to become. But when that day finally comes, I know there will be so many stories I’ll want to tell you. Until then, keep watching over me, Grandma. I hope you know how deeply you are loved, how terribly you are missed, and how you will never, ever be forgotten. Two years without you, but a lifetime of loving you. 🕊️❤️♾️
