@the.grapevine5: October 13, 2026, The Grapevine: Opposition Leader Azruddin Mohamed and two other men were arrested late Monday night after gunfire outside the home of Special Branch head, Senior Superintendent Prem Narine, on Barr Street, Kitty. They are being held at the Kitty Police Station. Police information says Narine saw a black Toyota Allion, PXX 5300, pass his house slowly and then come back around. He says he then heard a loud bang like a gunshot, took cover and fired several rounds from his service Glock. Mohamed says police shot at the vehicle he was in to kill him, and then planted a handgun under the pedal. His sister and his lawyer, Siand Dhurjon, say the same.
