100% inaccurate, any car guy knows these days you don't have to wait for the engine to warm up! Gently driving is more beneficial to warming the car up, then sitting and waiting due to "Oil Pressure" 🤦🤦 In the 90s yeah this would be true.

This is just a NA car, turbocharged cars you also need to wait for oil temps to come down after hard driving before turning the car off also.

It’s not about getting engine to a temp, it’s about getting oil circulated. As my kids have got their licenses and I’ve taught them to drive, I always explain it like this “ do you want someone to wake you up get you out of bed and immediately start running 2 miles? Or do you want someone to get you up out of bed and give you a chance to get dressed and be awake before you start having to run 2 miles?”

la verdad lo que hace el chino es lo mejor, tienes que esperar por lo menos 10 segundos de vehículo en ralentí( esperar que se lubrique bien el motor ) o baje las revoluciones para recién efectuar la marcha, el chino es un buen cuidador de su auto, mis respetos al chino, saludos cordiales desde Chile

pra quem não entendeu BR: quando c liga o carro... vc não vai andar direto. Precisa esperar cair o óleo no motor e toda a ignição antes de andar, pra ele ter certeza que ligou tudo o ponteiro precisa cair (há meios diferentes que varia de carro e pessoa, o ponteiro é o mais comum). Como o personagem do vídeo é um cara que ama seu carro e há cuidado... ele tem cautela. Espero ter ajudado 👍🏻

It's pointless. Better to drive off, keep the revs below 2000 RPM, and let it warm up for 5-10 minutes. The gentlest way to avoid damaging the cylinder walls. No problem.
