Draculaura and Clawde being an interracial couple went far beyond vampire/werewolf and I don’t understand how people never clocked that like ?? I knew that when I was 10 lmao

people calling clawdeen an animal are not helping their case either bc why are you calling a black representing character an animal?? she a monster a WEREwolf yk it literally means man or HUMAN wolf

like bsffr. her FULL BLOOD SISTER has an afro for fir the half of the series. more than actually. she doesn't actually change until 13 wishes. and Clawdeen at SEVERAL points has an afro. Clawd is a black man. THE CREATOR SAID THIS TOO.

Miss frog :
She did tan which by itself is ok and with the context miss frog guesses is ok but it’s still weird to tan yourself for a clawdeen cosplay like it’s weird like it’s not entering black face area but still it makes miss frog uncomfortable

Like listen it’s one thing with catty noir because she’s LITERALLY a black cat and there isn’t any specific identifying features to appropriate but with clawdeen SHE IS A BLACK WOMAN. They have made it beyond clear in the show and all MH media as well as including features that are specific to that race! You cannot just replicate and appropriate a black character and change your skin tone to be accurate when it includes those features.

So at first, obviously the racism made me upset. But then I was like wait. Do y’all not know what werewolves are? Even if you’re looking at other froms of different media and stories, they always start as human, and have a human form and then they get wolf features added on. So her human form is a black skinned woman, and then she turns into a brown werewolf. With brown fur over her dark Melanated black woman skin. Skin and fur are two different things but obviously there are some weirdos who I guess don’t understand that.
