Man I’m 50 ..I’m done..I’m not going out like that..I just don’t trust the way they build these things anymore..and I don’t think there are nearly enough regulations..and I think these parks need to be monitored way more strictly..told my son he shouldn’t step foot in these places..go find something else to do

I went on lightning loops at great adventure 25 years ago my chest restraint did not lock. It was the first looping roller coaster you went straight looped and stopped at one side. I yelled at the attendant to get me off. He wouldn’t let me and hit the switch to go the other direction. I was fortunate to have a lap restraint. I held on for dear life. I have not been on another roller coaster since then. prayers go out to the family.

I remember when I was itty-bitty going on the run away mine train, and it started to takeoff without my lap bar secured. Luckily, we were able to wave down the people and they secured it. If I was older, I probably would’ve got off right then, but I was too little to even realize what almost happened.
