I have a phrase that I love to use. “I’m going on a bear hunt.” The children’s book often talked about how to get through the forest or swamp. You can’t go over it, can’t go around it, can’t go under it. You have to go through it. I digested that saying and spent so long crying alone in my apartment. I still have moments where I cry, but it reminds me that I’m human and healing isn’t linear. It’ll get easier, but you have to feel it all.

3 years ago i was at that point ..after 20 years marriage - my 1st and only ..we grew up together we married when i was 16 he was 17 and 3 years ago we seperated ..it broke me 😵 it will get easier with time but it will never be gone 😓
