@griefparentlivingchild: The hardest part of ambiguous loss isn't always the quiet hours at home. Sometimes, it’s the sheer energy required to live normally out in the world. When you are grieving a living child, the world doesn't pause. The bills still come, work still needs to get done, groceries still need to be bought, and small talk still has to be made. You find yourself nodding along, smiling politely, and answering "I'm good, just tired" when people ask how you are doing. It is an exhausting performance. Beneath the surface of your normal, everyday routine, you are carrying a massive, heavy weight in your chest. You are managing a heartbreak that doesn't have a funeral, a card, or a casserole brought to your door. If you had to put on your invisible armor today just to get through your normal routine, please know how strong you truly are. It takes incredible courage to keep showing up for life when a piece of your heart is missing. Drop a 🤍 in the comments if you’ve had to perform "fine" today. You don't have to pretend here. #GrievingALivingChild #AmbiguousLoss #ParentalGrief #GrievingParent #grief

Robin :
I felt that way, and then my non estranged daughter was murdered, so after burying her I have zero f***s to give about living people who choose to not talk to me. They cant hurt your feelings when you dont have any.
