The bills alone from the hospital go over you. When my sister was about turning 20 we just couldn't sleep that midnight...we roamed from hospital to hospital till the next morning. Their crisis no be joke

Sir, apart from the VOC,VOPE there are complications like stroke,priapism,severe anaemia etc. Its important for partners to know their sickling status(genotype). But in this case,the lady said her mother and 3 siblings died of SCD,So growing up she was told shes a sickler,how can a person who claims shes a AS be a sickler. She only had the traits/carrier not a sickler. Again,if her husband was AS she would prioritize test before marriage. For me,something us not adding up.

I schooled at EPC MAWUKO girl’s and believe I didn’t enjoy shs at all I was told at trafaga a hospital at Ho that my life limit was 18yrs then I was to die and mind you during at time I was 17/18

At a point in time my mum had to bring that one man churches pastors to come and pray for me , this liar came to say that there’s a spirit hiding in the corner of our living room that’s causing me that pain. Me koraa na Im AS no oo, I tell you that a whole term na ago go school like just a month , the rest no nyinaa pains and crying nkoaaaa, till I turned 13 or 14 years. so I said if my parents were naive and gave birth to me , I’ll never let my kids go through the same pain as I had endured , even if it took me 50years to find a partner that was AA.

One time I was at the hospital and I had to undergo some lab tests and while I was waiting for the technician to attend to me, I saw him working on some blood in a tube and it looked so pinkish and light, so my inquisitive mind asked him why that blood looked like that and he said, this is how a person suffering from Sickle Cell disease blood looks like. I have always known and read about it but that day was when I knew it wasn’t a joke. My blood was so dark and thick by a large margin compared to what whoever that blood belonged to was. So I asked again what makes it look pale like that and he said their blood cells lack haemoglobin, the nutrient that gives blood its distinct color and vibrant red look. Even he was worried about the patient and kept shaking his head. The blood sample looked like blood diluted with a lot of water.
