The Apple TV is great, but $299 is genuinely insane for a TV stream box

💀💀 I have owned an Apple TV for about 11 years now and I’ve upgraded to different versions and I’m literally not seeing a difference besides, they added a microphone and added $200.

Unfortunately this dramatic price increase will result in fewer people being able to experience Apple TV going forwards. More people will stick with their smart TV’s software. It’s too bad because Apple TV is far superior in many ways.

The new added features are NOT worth 299.99, which is just the way the market is now. My current AppleTV was just 150. I’ll wait for the next one.

All they did was slap AI in it and increase it with another $100. And Apple isn't even good at AI...

I love Apple but charging $299 for a product that is JUST faster than the previous generation is so dumb

£299 is way too much for it, given it was like £150 last year

Not really that big of an upgrade to warrant me to upgrade. I can already find the remote by using the find my remote option. The sound will be helpful but not $400
