@michellepetrie716: The Buffalo area has never had a Costco, but that's about to change! The region's first Costco warehouse is set to open on Ridge Lea Road in Amherst, at the site of the former Tony Roma's restaurant. It's been one of the most anticipated projects in WNY since it was announced in 2022, with earlier target dates in the spring and then August both slipping by. Now Costco has confirmed a late October 2026 opening. Right now, the closest Costco is about 75 miles away in Rochester, so this is a big deal. Expect a full warehouse club with bulk groceries, household goods, and a gas station on site. 👉 Share this with the friend who's been waiting YEARS for this! 📍 Costco, 4230 Ridge Lea Road, Amherst 🏠 Need real estate help? Closest Costco in America near Buffalo is Rochester. But theirs one is Niagara Falls Canada that’s 30 miles away. I never go to the Rochester one. I bring whatever I want. I even ask the border officer to check the trunk if he wants and he never does
