Many students still get confused about the difference between these tenses! PAST SIMPLE (I spoke) 🔸 We use it to talk about a completed action in the past, normally along with a time. ✅ “I spoke to him yesterday.” ✅ “She spoke to me about the job.” PRESENT PERFECT (I have spoken) 🔸 Used to talk about experiences and recent events that happened in the past, but are still relevant to now. 🔸 It focuses more on what happened than when it happened. ✅ “I’ve spoken to him many times about his behaviour.” ✅ “She’s spoken at many events.” It is a difficult piece of grammar, but keep practicing and you will improve and understand more!
