Mitchell Bienvenue :
I’m a huge Apple fan and love pretty much everything they make, but I’m genuinely confused about the new HomeView that launched today. What exactly does it offer that you can’t already do on an iPad mini, iPad, or iPhone? What am I missing here?

$250 doorbell when Ring is $50. $200 indoor camera when Ring is below $50. That’s ridiculous

late to the game, everyone already has their ecosystem in mind. who is replacing with LG (not pure apple) when google, nest, blink, simplisafe already exist. new homes aren’t selling

So they are just LG smart devices that I’ve been integrated into the Apple Home network? Not actually Apple designed products?

Surpised this didn't get canceled or a replacement for LG found due to the controversies around LG and spying on people.
