@ncgrok: I just spent a week at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Young Harris, Georgia taking a faceting class taught by Tom Mitchell. This is the first stone I cut. It is Hellenite. A glass made from the ash of the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens.
