@a_trigeros2: A 11-year-old boy and a 4-year-old boy were fatally shot in Los Angeles' Pico Union neighborhood on Sunday, October 11, 2026,  This all unfolded, near Venice Boulevard and South Catalina Street.  (close to Loyola High School)  Just before 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.  They were transported to a hospital where they   Succumb from their injuries.  Police identified the gunman as the children's father,  a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s.  After allegedly shooting the children,  the suspect turned the gun on himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  He was taken to a hospital in police custody.  The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is leading the active investigation.  Authorities stated there is no ongoing threat to the community and no other suspects are being sought. #picounion #losangeles #🙏🏽💔
