It is called failing up. I watched it happen for years. All I did was make my supervisors look great until I stopped then I got let go. After 10 years.

Literally dealing with this today. I don't want to go to another job, but if you don't do something about the bad employee, I will leave. Just to get the response 'I dont want you to do that. I can tell you're passionate about your job.' Then fix it. I'm giving the opportunity to fix it. I already know it won't happen.

These are the words I’ve been searching for…. I have taken a huge leap of faith this week choosing to walk away from people and a team I care deeply for because of the system. I’m scared as hell but nothing was going to change unless I chose to change. I wasn’t willing to change who I have become as a leader so now I change and find a find a different system to share my leadership with.
