There is what we call locution. How word come in to use depending on context of evolution of such word in a certain group of people. sasa in the real Kiswahili context means now, in another use "sasa wasemaje" as in right now what are you trying to say or telling me or even "umeamuaje as in what is your decision now. So the word in Kenya evolved from sasa ukoje? as in waendeleaje sahii from the condition I left you in previously as in the context of greeting someone also check the evolution of the word "Mambo?" in full mambo yako yakoje as in how is everything about you in general and the answer is poa to mean yako poa as in everything is okey. And that is how "sasa" as a greeting came to be just like "mambo" and Hujambo to Jambo. If you understand Kiswahili no need to explain more. . So don't explain as if we don't know what we are doing. we know better. . We used to call our buses i.e box body vehicles Manyanga then it was shortened to Nyanga and letter reversed to Nganya. That is us Kenyans you don't have to question or follow what we decide to do with the language for our own understanding. Waswahili huiita Misimu. . You can stick to Kiswahili sanifu kama wakijua.

While when I land Kenya airport I used to speak strong Swahili until the force me to switch to English and I tell them is not my language I don’t understand very well, wanabaki iyo Swahili ya TZ ni strong sanaa.
