I'm not gonna Say Ryan Reynolds is the greatest Green Lantern but I think that movie gets too much hate I agree when he says the oath In that movie it's a awesome moment feel like everyones issue with that movie is the suit but I think John Stewart having is own Oath right away was a stupid writing choice Storytelling wise I think it would of been better if he did that like a few years down the road or at least a few movies down the road

They really didn’t do these characters justice at all. Not the actors, they were phenomenal, but the writers. It was an enjoyable watch, but it didn’t feel like a green lantern show to me at all

Tbf the suit is also a physical thing. Unlike most constructs it doesn’t just vanish based upon lack of concentration

yeah, the whole show felt like they hated the comics. they went out of thier way to avoid anything the least bit comic book. almost 0 green lantern suit. there was barely any green! they had to *tell us* the manhunters are dangerous robots. almost 0 space or *any* sci-fi elements. almost 0 action, it was mostly talking. they freakin killed hal Jordan! then to top it off they screwed up the oath! maybe if they had made john a yellow lantern but no they didn't even do that. ugh 😡

I looked at it as the ring can make the suit but it drains power so it's reserved for emergencies. I think we didn't see him in a GL suit though because he's probably fighting the meaning behind the core and the uniform.

About the suit : I def think it’s a bummer that the first time we’ll see it won’t be under his own show / film - but side bar : if he’s a “freelancer” / unsanctioned lantern, is that to say they’re gonna have him in a suit that isn’t green 😭
