Agreed. Also, the Bible was edited by the Roman Empire then they deployed the Roman Catholic Church. There are Scripture verses that shouldn't be and Scripture verses missing in the Bible as a result.

My comment will be a bit long—please bear with me. Let’s go back to the beginning: the Shah of Iran took pride in being America’s "policeman" in the Gulf, at a time when communist revolutions were toppling monarchs left and right. Iran was no exception; the most powerful opposition group poised to overthrow the Shah was the leftist *Mujahedin-e Khalq*, which was aligned with the Soviet Union—a power that had just invaded Afghanistan and had no qualms about further expansion. Do you think the United States would have simply waited for a catastrophe to unfold—losing Iran, and perhaps later the Gulf states as well? The most logical course of action was to engineer a religious revolution that would publicly denounce America while, in reality, serving its interests. Former Iranian President Ahmadinejad once stated that, had it not been for Iran’s assistance, the United States would never have been able to occupy Iraq and Afghanistan.

Subhanallah - one of the most wonderful things about embracing Islam (after decades of Christianity) for me has been the reality of having to dig deep and THINK, to use the intellect Allah SWT gave me, instead of the answers to my questions being "it's a mystery, accept it".
