lightning doesn't care about the rubber tires on your vehicle. Exhibit A - here's a photo of my wife's car when it was hit by lightning and caught on fire. The lightning jumped from her rim to the ground

It’s ONLY a risk during the strike to touch metal.. if their isn’t a downed power line, you are completely safe to get out and touch the metal 😭😭 do people think the full charge of the lighting gets trapped in the car??💀😭🙏
