@nym_news: According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the #Mets could be a potential free agent suitor for Alec Bohm. Bohm, 30, has experience in two positions the Mets are in need of entering 2027: first base and third base. Although Bohm struggled overall with a .249 AVG and .698 OPS over 155 games this season, he also improved with 15 HRs and 88 RBIs (up from 11 HRs, 59 RBIs in 2024). If Bo Bichette opts in, the Mets would no longer have a need for third base, but Bohm also has 182 career games at first base and actually played better at first base than third base in 2026. Feinsand projected that Bohm could command a 2 year, $33M contract similar to what Josh Bell got from the Guardians entering 2023. How do you guys feel about the idea of Bohm in Queens? 🤔
