This is so accurate with severely broken trust through gut, wrenching betrayal the relationship cannot be repaired. The fact that two human beings have to absolutely and completely Arender everything mentioned has such a high degree of unlikelihood. I wish I had seen it two years ago.

The transgression isn’t always cheating. Sometimes it’s a pattern of dishonesty. To me, both necessitate a hard break, for at least however long healing is needed. Even then the odds the transgressor will change are slim to none.
