@just.a.kid.from.ms: LeBron James had the better rookie season when you consider his age, versatility, expectations, and all-around impact because at just 19 years old he entered the NBA straight out of high school and averaged 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game while playing nearly 40 minutes a night, proving he could score, create opportunities for teammates, rebound, and lead an offense against grown professional athletes, and although Michael Jordan averaged an incredible 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists while shooting 51.5% from the field, LeBron accomplished his numbers at a younger age and carried enormous pressure as one of the most hyped prospects basketball had ever seen, making his immediate adjustment to the NBA remarkable, because LeBron was not just a scorer but a complete playmaker who could control the pace, attack the basket, find open teammates, and impact the game in several different ways, and his rookie season earned him Rookie of the Year while establishing the foundation for one of the greatest careers in basketball history, so while Jordan definitely has the stronger argument for scoring dominance and efficiency, LeBron has a legitimate argument for the most impressive rookie season when youth, versatility, responsibility, and expectations are part of the conversation, and that is why I believe LeBron James deserves serious consideration for having the best rookie season ever. 👑🏀🔥 #fyp #NBA #foryoupage #basketball #stat follow @just.a.kid.from.ms for more content
