Let’s be honest. Did Cowing make a mistake? Absolutely, but just like every other player, he was trying to make a positive impact in the game and ended up making an error specially receiving the ball with the sun in his eyes, but I also like that coach put him out there in the game, shows maturity by Shanahan.

Wait, I want to know why the hit wasn't illegal? The defender clearly made contact with Cowings head and neck area, watch his facemask...yes he should have called for a fair catch, but I think the hit was illegal.
