@lukegrosch: personal hygiene and routine is a different experience when you’re autistic. For me it’s ritualistic, and one of the most important parts of my week. it gives me agency over some of my sensory experience! And I get to customise my avatar in the process! I hate going to the hairdresser's....so noisy...too many hairdryers, chat, phones, and worst of all sprayed chemicals. 😳 yuk. I also keep my hair short as I would never get to work on time otherwise.
