@kenneth.oxxqn_5856_404: Kimberly Guilfoyle’s diplomatic career is facing a major setback after the White House asked her to resign as the U.S. ambassador to Greece following a series of troubling allegations. White House press secretary Katie Zacharia announced the decision on Tuesday, October 13, saying Guilfoyle had been asked to step down. However, it remained unclear whether she had formally resigned. The controversy follows reports by The Wall Street Journal alleging that Guilfoyle asked a political donor to pay a $100,000 American Express bill shortly before her Senate confirmation hearing. According to the report, she allegedly offered access to administration officials in return. The newspaper cited text messages between Guilfoyle and the donor. But her lawyers strongly denied wrongdoing, arguing that the money was payment for earlier public appearances and speaking engagements. They also rejected allegations concerning her use of private aircraft. Other reports have raised questions about her conduct in Greece, including alleged improper gifts, diplomatic disputes, and potential conflicts involving business interests. Democratic lawmakers have called for an investigation, while a State Department inspector general inquiry has also been reported, though it was unclear whether a formal investigation had begun. DJ.Trump had already expressed dissatisfaction with the reports, telling journalists that his administration was unhappy with the situation. Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously defended Guilfoyle and criticized reporters for questions about the allegations. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host and former fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., has not directly addressed all the claims publicly. Her lawyers maintain that she did nothing wrong. The developing controversy now leaves serious questions about her diplomatic future and the allegations surrounding her conduct. \#KimberlyGuilfoyle #WhiteHouse #USNews #BreakingNews #WorldNews
