@donaldjackson6342: James McAvoy Says He Was B*llied On His First Day On Band Of Brothers By A Famous Costar James McAvoy is opening up about a rough first day on his first job as a professional actor. McAvoy, 47, spoke on Watch What Happens Live on October 12. He was talking about his one-episode arc on the 2001 miniseries Band of Brothers. “I’m not going to tell you who it was,” he said. He said many actors on the show filmed for months with only a line or two. McAvoy came in for one episode and had “tons of lines.” He said one of the regular actors did not take that well. “One of the guys in that picture decided to b*lly me on my first day as a professional actor out of acting school,” McAvoy said. He said the actor and his buddies pointed at him and laughed for about three minutes. But McAvoy said two castmates stepped in. Dexter Fletcher and Robin Laing took him aside. “Come hang with us, man,” he remembered them saying. Asked to rate the experience, he said, “Apart from that day, it was a nine. But that day, it felt like a two.” Host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Peter Krause tried to get him to name the actor. McAvoy would not.
