I went through this 2013 into 2017. I didn’t see my son December 2013-April 2015 because she violated the court order repeatedly. I dropped my lawyer in January 2016 and got another one. In August 2016 I won virtually all my points, and in February, all of a sudden my ex called her lawyer and her lawyer called my lawyer and my lawyer called to tell me to come pick him up permanently. Since then he’s had a stable high school experience, has graduated from college, and literally last week, he moved to Boston to begin his independent life, working for a major company and making as much as me his first year. And of course…his mom got to see him as much as she wanted, the whole time I had primary physical custody. I don’t ply that tot-for-tat stuff…a kid has the right to see their parents!

My daughter is in custody court and the baby daddy has violated every court order and he keeps getting admonished. My daughter is Pro Se and he has a BAR member. It’s all rigged. Family court is criminal!

Had a family law practice, so this was unfortunately not that uncommon. One parent thinks they are above the law and refuses to comply with court orders. The emotions of family law cases are often dangerously high.
