What I’m hearing is they have been real loose on the maintenance and upkeep and got scared so now they have to go back and go over everything. Makes you wonder what they have put off and for how long.

my ex and I rode on behemoth the year it came out, when the attendant checked his lap bar, it didn't click down the way it should have, he paused, kind of grimaced, and then pushed down again saying "it should be fine" lol I spent the whole ride wondering if he was going to go flying out of his seat

this is a good thing ppl... until they can identify what caused the accident, think of it like a product recall. and then once they confirm everything's safe it will be the BEST time to ride, because everything will have recently been inspected.

I seriously thought I was going to fly out of the behemoth almost 20 years ago. scared the crap out of me. I lost a significant amount of weight and tried it again this year and didn't have that feeling at all. Makes me wonder if I truly wasn't fastened correctly back then. 😳

the only time i've ever left a coaster INJURED was the Rockin Rollercoaster at Disneyworld in Florida. so many are safe but some of them are just ridiculous. i love the leviathan tho, i almost fall asleep on it

For those who haven’t been on the behemoth or leviathan, it’s a gigantic coaster ride that has lap bars and bucket seats. There are seatbelts but they do not fasten to your waist. They are infinite, so you can pull them loose anytime. Therefore If a lap bar were to fail, you’d end up probably being thrown from your seat. There’s no backup fail safe for buckling in
