standardized testing has been proven to be implicitly biased, which is why many institutions of higher education have either discontinued or made optional SAT and ACT scores.

We learned in my history of education course that there were/are questions that depend on cultural experiences that typically only affluent white students would have. Math questions are guilty of this too.

I've come to accept that most things created before the year 2000 had some sort of bias to it and from 2000 until now it's a 50/50 at best. the best we can do is fight and do better for the future
