Green hills. Open skies. Roads winding through the countryside. Loch Katrine was one of those places where I could finally see the Scotland I'd imagined before the trip. And standing there in person was even better. After spending time in Edinburgh and wandering through castles, getting out into the countryside felt like a completely different side of Scotland.
