Hades :
Ive had 3 inductions. All took around the same time. First one was amazing, water got broke at the start, epidural worked amazingly, I progressed at an even rate (if that makes sense), slept most of my labor, pushed for over an hour (his head was in the 95th percentile). Second induction went slow at first, but once my water broke it went by quickly. I went from 2cm at 8 when my water was broke to 4cm at 10 when I got the epidural, they went to put in an iupc at 12:40ish to monitor baby better because he was having late decels and I was fully dilated with his head right there. We were all surprised. I felt a lot of pressure still after the epidural and the ring of fire (which is normal). I only pushed for 15 mins. With my third it kinda went the same. My water got broke around 9, I stayed up and active to help with the pain, then around 12 I went into transition and was at 6cm, got the epidural around 1:45, and I was ready to push around 3:15. The epidural did not work at all on one side until literally a couple minutes before my doctor came in to deliver. I only pushed for 2 contractions and she was born. She did get a little stuck because her arms were crossed over her chest like she was hugging herself, but nothing bad happened. My ob was able to maneuver her out pretty quickly. The nurses did freak out for a second because they thought it was shoulder dystocia, but thankfully it was not.
