Don’t forget the best format, kitchen table! Where you just play with friends or family at home and it’s basically just standard but no rotation and you essentially use house rules amongst you and the people you’re chill with.

Me and my friend play legacy I think. 60 cards, 4 of each card, and every card we have is legal since we don’t own any that would be on the banned list for that format

dont forget legacy! where we use cards all the way back from the first set and games are over in a turn or two if you have $15,000 to spend on a deck!

Love magic, love commander. I think its the best form. You get an immediate understanding of the players decks. Fair. 100 cards and no copies. Fair. Most cards aren’t banned so you can use basically any you’ve collected through packs or whatever other sources you get them. Fair. Only thing that could or would be annoying Is that somebody’s deck is better than yours

Modern is the older format with more cards, pioneer is newer. But WOTC abandoned pioneer so who ever cares at this point

Recently started mtg in commander but moved to drafting for that even playing field and smaller scope. Can confirm it requires mastering every aspect of the game simultaneously. I have not. Not at all. Can't get enough of it either, it's all I want to do.
