It should be a crime not to make this cinnamon roll snowflake bread this season 🤭❄️ For the dough: Milk – 250 ml Dry yeast – 11 g Salt – 1 tsp Sugar – 2 tbsp Egg – 1 pc Vegetable oil – 6 tbsp Flour – 500 g Egg yolk – 1 (for brushing) For the filling: Butter ~ 105 g Brown sugar – 95 g Cinnamon – 20 g For the cream: Cream cheese – 50 g Powdered sugar – 100 g Butter – 40 g 1. Warm the milk and add the room-temperature egg, salt, sugar, and yeast. Whisk well, then add the room-temperature oil and mix thoroughly. 2. Sift about half of the flour on top and mix. 3. Sift the remaining flour onto the table, transfer the dough, and knead well. (You may not need all the flour.) The dough should be soft, once it stops sticking to your hands, stop kneading. Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 25 minutes. 4. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling by mixing the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. 5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Take the dough, divide it into two equal parts, and roll out two even circles. 6. Spread the filling evenly over one circle and place the second circle on top. Place a glass or any small round object in the center. 7. Make 4 cuts on each side, then 4 more cuts between them, and another 8 cuts between those. 8. Take two strips at a time, twist them outward, bring the ends together, and pinch to seal. Repeat with all sections. 9. Brush the whole snowflake with egg yolk and bake at 180°C (350°F) for ~20–25 minutes. 10. Prepare the frosting - mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and softened butter until smooth. 11. Spread the frosting over the slightly cooled snowflake bread and dust with additional powdered sugar on top if desired. Enjoyy! 🤍 #EasyRecipe #baking #christmas #christmasbaking #cinnamonroll
