I HATE HATE HATE when they say “look at me” or “repeat after me”. That makes me feel ten times more panicked! Please don’t shout commands or force a person having a panic attack to look at you!

My first panic attack happened while I was sitting in bed and the people who helped be get through it was my online friends who I had to cut off because they were well older but… they were good for comfort. I spoke so fondly of them all and my mum hated them all because they were a couple years older.
