@frederickcitymedia: it's finally happening 😮 Demolition of the former Applebee's restaurant at 5613 Spectrum Drive, near the Francis Scott Key Mall in Frederick, appears to be nearly complete, marking another step toward the arrival of Frederick's first Raising Cane's. • The Applebee's location permanently closed on December 29, clearing the way for the redevelopment of the property. • Back in September 2025, we let you know that site plans confirmed that the former Applebee's building would be demolished to make way for a brand-new, approximately 3,300-square-foot Raising Cane's restaurant featuring a drive-thru. • While demolition appears to be wrapping up, an exact construction timeline and anticipated opening date for Frederick's Raising Cane's have not yet been announced. • The Louisiana-based chicken finger chain is best known for its chicken finger meals, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and signature Cane's Sauce. • We'll continue to follow the project and provide additional updates as more details become available. • Are you excited for Raising Cane's to open in Frederick ⁉️
