I wish I listen to this 20 years back. I’m crying listening to this. I like you said , mom is just mom and dad is being dad. I’ve never asked those deep questions about them. I have no idea how they being raised . I have some idea of them. I feel so sad . 😭😭😭

This is such a good narrative for people to think about. I am 67, lost my husband, 14 months ago. There are so many stories from my life, so many dreams in my life that my children don’t know anything about. I imagine all of the stories their father has, I know some of them, but not all because we didn’t grow up together. I know they will never have the chance to hear all of those stories from him. There is no one else left to tell them. I knew a lot of stories from my parents, but so many other things I wish I knew.My mother passed when I was 39, and my father passed when I was 50. I did not get to spend enough time with them hearing their stories.
