@justinrei_universal: These type of behavior at @Halloween Horror Nights is totally unacceptable. While Nikki was in a middle of interacting with a guest after we got out of Dead, Deader, Deadest house, a group of teenagers were getting loud and rowdy at Nikki which ruined the experience for another guest and it caused Nikki to break character after being overwhelmed and luckily the Team Member stepped in to deescalate the situation. Always respect the people working at HHN because they work really hard to make the event more fun for other guests as well as be respectful to other guests. THE FULL CONTEXT: A lot of people are confused about what happened in this video and it the pertormer handled it right. Here's the exact timeline: 1️⃣ Nikki entered from possibly the Super Nintendo World backstage gate on the Lower Lot and stopped behind the barriers for an awesome, personal interaction with a guest who also paid to attend the event. 2️⃣ A group of teens gathered and started loudly yelling the "No, no, no" line from Obsession directly at her while she's having an ongoing interaction with a guest. 3️⃣ A Team Member stepped in and gave a 1st warning to stop interrupting. Nikki briefly broke character to tell them to stop too. 4️⃣ As Nikki went to turn back to the original guest, the teens completely defied the command and doubled down on being obnoxious. 5️⃣ The TM gave them a 2nd warning, but the relentless disruption made it impossible to work. Feeling completely overwhelmed, Nikki threw up the "X" safety code with her arms, apologized to the original guest, and was escorted away from the scene. 🛑 YES, THIS IS HARASSMENT: There's a massive difference between normal HHN energy and targeted misconduct. Defying park staff to repeatedly heckle an actor crosses the line. Universal has a zero-tolerance policy for this. 🛡️ SHE HANDLED IT 100% PROFESSIONALLY: To anyone saying she shouldn't have broken character-the "X" sign is standard industry safety protocol. A performer's mental and physical safety always comes before "the show." She tried to give them a chance, but they chose to ruin it. Shoutout to the performer for setting boundaries and the TMs who backed her up.
