Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg confirmed that investigators from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit had traced Allegra's whereabouts during their investigation. Officers subsequently located the teenager in Middle Street, North End. Police also traced Brent Naidoo (25), who had been sought as part of efforts to locate her. Captain Janse van Rensburg confirmed: She was found safe and unharmed. Allegra's disappearance prompted appeals for information, with her photograph and missing person notices widely circulated on social media. Missing Person South Africa has welcomed the news and thanked members of the public who shared information and helped raise awareness during the search. The organisation has also appealed for the teenager's privacy to be respected, particularly as her family has not released an official statement detailing the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Police have confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing. Captain Janse van Rensburg indicated that no further details would be released at this stage due to the sensitive nature of the matter and the involvement of a minor.
