Lilly ♥️ :
Thank you, Ford, for reaching out regarding my transmission issue, only to tell me that nothing can be done, without providing a reasonable explanation as to why my vehicle is experiencing problems similar to those reported with other Ford 10-speed transmissions.
Thank you for having a customer service department that seems incapable of connecting customers with anyone who can actually answer technical questions or explain the reasoning behind your decisions. Thank you for promising supervisor callbacks that never happen and for repeatedly giving scripted responses instead of meaningful answers.
It’s easy to tell a customer “no.” What’s apparently difficult is explaining why, addressing legitimate concerns, or taking accountability when a customer is dealing with a major mechanical failure.
And let’s talk about the customer service experience. Ford proudly promotes its reputation and commitment to customers, yet when I call for help, I get representatives who repeat the same script without offering any real solutions. My issue isn’t where your representatives are located. It’s the lack of knowledge, transparency, accountability, and willingness to escalate concerns to someone who can actually help.
My 2020 Ford Explorer has approximately 63,000 miles, and I’m dealing with a major internal transmission failure. I purchased this vehicle expecting reliability, not to be left questioning why such an expensive component failed so early in its life.
I’m not asking Ford to blindly agree with me. I’m asking for an explanation. Why did this happen? Why are similar transmission concerns being reported by other owners? What makes my situation different? And why is it so difficult to speak with someone who can provide an actual technical answer?
“Built Ford Tough” and “Ford: There for You” sound great in advertisements. But where is that commitment when a customer actually needs help?
I understand that I may be wasting my time speaking up, but consumers deserve better than unanswered questions, broken callback promises, and scripted apologies.
So thank you, Ford, for showing me what customer loyalty apparently means once the vehicle is out of its factory warranty.
