I used to ride my dirt bike or quad toward the end of Centerville Beach, on the Ferndale side of the Eel River mouth. Right at that narrow tip, I’d see a bunch of harbor seals just chilling. I’d approach slowly and crawl low so I could get close enough to take pictures or just watch them. It was the most beautiful thing ever. You should try watching them sometime—just give them plenty of space.
