Colleen’s OG-est fan base was theatre people. She actually had adult fans who loved her — even Broadway actors! That didn’t last long before she sold out to greed and started doing the Miranda that most people recognize, the one that was more popular with teens and a younger audience. I think the only reason why her cancellation was semi-successful is because young audiences are move on quickly. Four months is an eternity in 12-14 year olds lives. If I had a Time Machine, I would love to see what would have happened if she had stuck with the OG Miranda.
