I’m glad you are recovering, first off. Secondly- you got me thinking about clothes. What about wool? It’s naturally flame retardant.

As a green Journeyman Electrician I very much appreciate your story and past videos about our work. I have always been safety oriented, but even the best of us say "Ah, ill just do this real quick". Im sorry this happened to you. I hope the recovery is swift, and your story will be shared to make my apprentices better Electricians

Just a detail, but since there were openings from one section to the other, it was a switchboard and not switchgear. More care is needed in SWBDs because of this.

I really want to say that you did a great job explaining in the first part. I understood most everything that you said and I have nearly no electrical knowledge 😌
I've been following you for a bit, it's really great to see your healing progress 🌞

As a very new apprentice who just took his NFPA70E class through a major electrical company in our area, hearing about the whole cotton clothes thing is concerning. They really hammered wearing nothing but cotton clothes into our heads. Our uniforms are cat2 but they really emphasized replacing our undergarments with all cotton clothing.
