Comment “JDM” and I’ll add you to my fortnigjtly newsletter where I discuss Japan travel tips and more 🇯🇵✍️ — Everything I learnt from going to Daikoku PA I recently got back from Japan after ticking off heaps of my teenage dreams while visiting. Daikoku PA is one of the most famous, if not the number 1 spot, to visit in Tokyo for car enthusiasts. It’s so worth it, but there are some things you need to know. Three key tips you should know before you visit: 1. Rent a car 🚗 : you can’t get there by train or bus and if you take a taxi you’ll get stuck, so organise your own way down there. Rental cars for a night are incredibly cheap through Nissan, Toyota, Nippon etc. 2. Don’t go on Friday ❌: I was planning to go on Friday and was told by many friends that Thursday is the best night to go, as it doesn’t get shut down. Next time I go I’ll be aiming to be there on a Sunday morning, which I’ve been told is the best time all week. 3. Arrive after 9pm 🕘: Daikoku PA is a functioning Parking Area (obvious to some I know) and before 9pm it’s still operating as a highway rest stop. You’ll see way cooler cars if you arrive at 9pm when it’s “shut”. Hit me with your questions in the comments and follow for more JDM car travel tips 🫡 #daikoku #daikokupa #daikokufuto #japantravel #jdm
